In today sermon I learnt alot on sermon from Pastor John Mendez.
His witness of God definately strengthen my faith on my Mighty God.
He shared the importance of God favor in our life as help us.
Of course in order to have favor of God, required to build relationship with God, worshipping, obeying Him and allowing Him to guide us. Once we gain that, we will received blessing, guidance and protection.

John Mendez shared about how God protect Him when he went to one village in US where alot of witch in that town. He and other pastors were praying for the whole town and using the annoited oil at house streets everywhere of the town. And when they went for lunch, they were almost being poison, but before they started to eat the meal that was served, God told John to kneel and praise Him, and John started speak in tongue and being annointed at the moment.
And the chef and the woman of the restaurant owner was shocked because they cant believe their eyes as they told them they poison the food, and mentioned if John's God is real, they will kneel and praise the Lord. And thats what happened. God protected John and His people. The restaurant is not exist anymore as it now turn into church.

Another sharing from John in Manila. While he get into taxi, he met this taxi driver. As John started to read his bible, the taxi driver was crying. John asked what happened, and the taxi driver mentioned he prayed today so that God will make him meet someone who is pastor to pray for His daughter who is sicked. So John agreed to go to this men house to see the daughter who is lying on the bed in the mosquitoes bait cover. John entered the net and put prayed for this girl while putting his hand on her forehead. Suddenly a woman come and shout in tagalog, (with nurse interpret), asking what is John doing. So John replied, He was asked by the father of the daughter to pray for her. And the woman mentioned the father has died 2 years ago and he was not seen in the sudden. But at that moment the girl was healed and she wake up and asked for food. Its a strange situation, but it's probably God works to send His angel to save this girl.

Those stories really strengthen me.
God never leave us, and when we face difficulty, it like the arrow that was being bent, to make you stronger. Its painful. But those pain will bring good.
Be strong, be couragous.
