Back to a rest day again. haha.. although my life for past three months have always been the rest day for me, but last two days I was helping out at the Ngee Ann City as volunteer for Enchanting Indonesia.

I really enjoyed this event. Furthermore I got to meet some great friends and great people. I was helping out at the KEPRI- Kepulauan Riau booth on Saturday. It started at 10:00 am! The sun is quite glarring on that day and my booth is just right under the sun. Marvelous. I was sun tanning for all day.. haha.. Anyway KEPRI booth was filled with 3 companies, first is Batam general information, second is Bintan Resort, third is Turi Beach Resort. I supposed to help all of them, but since the Batam people did not seem to need my help, I only help out for Bintan Resort. Haha.. It was sound like I am betrayer for my own island! But I cant help it, the Batam booth are very arrogant. The Bintan Resort people are very friendly and very nice people. I helped them out in promoting the Bintan Resort to the tourists.

Personally I think Bintan Resort is better than Batam Resort as well. I have been to Bintan Resort, it more famous with the name LAGOI. The beaches are beautiful with white sand, clean. I was there when I was little. My parents rent a two storrey villa there with 3 bedrooms. It comes with dining room and living room. The villa has it own swimming pool and u can walked about 50 meters to reach to the beach! You can imagine it yourself.. we played water the whole day non-stop until at night. But now the resort is much nicer with much more facilities attached to it.

One of the person I know from the Bintan Resort is the GM. He offered me a job to work there. haha.. He is looking for someone who is Indonesian and can speak Chinese(Mandarin), who are willing to work and stay at Bintan. They provided the accomordation and meals. You can let me know if you have any friends who looking for job. But.. too bad la I still studying.. I will contact him if I am going theree.. haha.. who knows he will give me more discount. ^^

Continue about the Enchanting Indonesia, they gave up food and drink voucher. That is so good because all the food is Indonesian food! Haha.. I was eating happily because I can eat Indonesian food for 2 days continuosly for free. I am sounding like I never seen Indonesia food for a long time although I only stayed at Batam. ahaha.. anyway if I went back batam, I dont often eat out. I will eat home cook or seafood. Anyway maybe I dont need to cook outside because my maid is a real good chef. She can cook fried chicken, soto, gulai, as good or better than the stall sell!!! Talking about food will make me go wild. hehe.. My mom once said, "I really dont understand you. You will think 10 times if you going to buy something which cost you 10-20 bucks. But once it comes to food, you wont think twice even though it cost you 60 over bucks." Well well.. good food make a person happier. HAHAHAHA..

Overall I think this event two thumb up. A lot people would like to be inform if any of these event is being organized again. For my self, I think my sales skill has improved. Haha.. This is one of my dream. To have a resort and own travel agency... and of course own restaurant. I dont know what I am doing with my Bachelor of Information System, but i am sure, it will be useful. Nothing come to waste....
